I have really been struggling deciding how I must showcase my app. I ended up deciding not to show my app in depth. I feel like my case study explains, through story telling, exactly what to expect from the app. At the end I have a quick sneak peak of my app and showing that it is available on both app stores, and I feel that does the job.
I also decided to add soft ambient music in the background. I think it compliments my voice over well. I went over the animation probably like 50 times changing speed graphs and making sure its all very smooth and the timing is all there. I think I accomplished what I wanted to do. I also feel like my animation skills have improved alot. I think my understanding of the animation rules are improving each time we receive an animation/motion graphic brief, which is pretty awesome!
There is always room for improvement. But today I was reminded by one of the employees of Plusplusminus that, sometimes someone will ask for a skateboard. This does not mean you must give them a Ferrari. You can try and give them the best skateboard you have ever made, but at the end of the day they will still be happy with a skateboard. And I believe I have accomplished this. I have made a pretty decent skateboard.
