This is my opening shot. We are introduced to the main character lying on her bed. She has no expression on her face but you get a sense of sadness.

The second shot is of her introducing her ability to play piano. The piano piece playing in the background is sad and progressive. This alludes to the idea that she expresses her emotions through her piano.

The shot then goes back to her lying on the bed but we start to realise that her mind is not completely there. The shot starts to blur when she moves her head too fast. This effect grows more and more.

We also get a glimpse of her face up close. She looks bored and sad.
The scene then goes back to the piano

And as the note hits we are introduced to a new scene

A beautiful blue sky. The viewer can breath again. This shot is placed between two piano shots. This is purposely done to show that her piano is her escape.
But it is short lived.

The scene continues to jump back and forth to her depressed/numb/emotionless state on her bed getting more overwhelmed as the film progresses. She closes her eyes slowly to dream back of things that bring her happiness and peace.
As the music progress so does the montages. The become more urgent.

This dancing in the forest flowers scene is also very important. This scene continuously shows up between the montages. This is her imagination.

As she thinks back of real life events she also imagines herself in a space of freedom and expression.

As she plays piano she imagines herself doing something she loves (dancing) in a fairy like manner.

This film is a battle between light and dark, sadness and happiness, freedom and imprisonment.
It asks the question: What do you use to escape your reality?
