So I worked a lot on my background and I finally found as style and colour scheme that makes me happy.

and yes I am finally happy where it is going – I am feeling a bit behind atm but I will catch up quickly now that I know where I am going.

The background is more vector styled and it is complimenting my characters well. I might happy to go back to my Enemy character and dull his colours a bit because he is really bright in contrast with eh background.

I still need to add a bunch of trees and maybe some more foliage. And then design some interactive obstacles.

I am happy where this is going and finally excited to see what I can add to make it nice and thiccc. Bahaha!

Oh and of course it is going to be a lot longer than the progress shot below.
